Book an AppointmentDr. Nightingale, is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract, refractive, and anterior segment surgeries. During his final year of residency at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, he was elected as chief resident and currently teaches advanced cataract surgical techniques to the residents there.
Dr. Nightingale performs hundreds of procedures each year while ensuring that his patients receive the highest quality of care with the most advanced surgical techniques available.
Dr. Nightingale, is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been in private practice on the Upper West Side of Manhattan for over 40 years. He specializes in cataract and refractive surgery, as well as the treatment of eye conditions like glaucoma, dry eye, macular degeneration, and eye infections.
An attending surgeon of ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, Dr. Nightingale is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, American College of Surgeons and the New York Kerato-Refractive Society.
William Hogue, O.D., graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee with a degree in chemistry. He then earned both his Doctor of Optometry and Master of Science degrees from the New England College of Optometry (NECO) in Boston, where his MS thesis focused on the structural and functional differences in myopic eyes.
After graduation, he completed a residency in ocular disease at the SUNY College of Optometry.
