Dr. Jeffrey Nightingale is a board certified ophthalmologist with a general ophthalmology practice. He has been in private practice on the Upper West Side of Manhattan for over 40 years. Dr. Nightingale treats a variety of medical conditions including Glaucoma, Dry Eyes and Macular Degeneration, and general eye infections. He can also give you a new prescription for your glasses. In addition, he specializes in Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Nightingale received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University and his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical College. He completed an internship at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center, a residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital and Medical Center and a fellowship at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. An attending surgeon of ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, Dr. Nightingale is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, American College of Surgeons and the New York Kerato-Refractive Society.
